• May 4th 2010 – the site www.postjournalist.ru is up and running. POSTJOURNALIST is a personal project by Vasily Gatov on the future of journalism and realted media occupations. I consider it a “glassdoor”project that describes the current state of journalism in Russia, forsees media market developement and assists journalists in reshaping the skills and professional understanding in order to find new place for work and creativity in uncertain future.
• May 5th 2010 – added first piece of (presumably three) on forecasting and forsighting in business.
• May 6th-11th 2010 – some minor additions like SLON.RU article.
• May 10th 2010 – added second piece on forecasting and forsighting in business – scenario-building models, some links for reading
• May 11th, 2010 – the site got an editor, Maksim Malkin – he raised the hand as my student at Academy of Finance Media-MBA and took a charge to proof-read my articles and assist with better site presentation.

May 12th-18th 2010 – not much done, but some minor additions to links, bot fresh-news and long-term reading; also started to record some thoughts in regard to the shift in specialization demand in media occupations.

End of May – June 15th – the updates for an english summary weren’t done daily, and I apologize – if anyone following this progress in English. Four parts of “Shaked foundation (of the profession)” were written and published since, and I hope to expand those soon with two or three additional articles. Also I have reacted to WIRED release on 73,000 sold copies of the magazine’s iPad application. Since June 16th, a new subsection and my daily obligation is added – “Important Daily”, where I will comment on certain industry news and developments. Enjoy!

No particular work was done between June 26th and July 20th – vacations!

Since end of July, a new series “On mission of journalism” has been started.
